One in six individuals- including one in four children- in our region faces food insecurity. Feeding the Gulf Coast has spent decades standing in that gap. Working through member organizations and special programs, they provide nutritious food to meet the challenge of feeding people who are hungry as a result of systemic poverty, personal crisis, or disaster, reaching families across the gulf coast. As a 2024 Impact100 Gulf Coast grant recipient, Feeding the Gulf Coast received the resources to go even further in ensuring that no neighbor in our community goes without
