Elizabeth currently supports Collins Aerospace, an RTX Company, as the Director of USG Compliance, she is a recognized subject matter expert on Federal Acquisition Regulations and Commercial Product and Services Contracting. She is the Chairperson of the RTX Commercial Item Working Group (CWG) and a founding member of Collin’s Commercial Item Advisory Board (CIAB), a member of the CIAB Supply Chain Working Group and leads the Strategic Commercial Item Subject Matter Expert (SME ) Team, she also supports the Aerospace Industry Association (AIA) Commercial Item Working Group (CIWG) and Contract Management Association (CMC) as well as an instructor of FAR Part 12 and Government Compliance.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron, School of Law.
She served in the United States Air Force as a Program Manager at both the base and command level during which time she was awarded Airman of the Year for Tinker Air Force Base and the Air Force Logistics Command as well as a finalist for 12 Outstanding Airman of the Air Force. Elizabeth also served NAVAIR as a civilian Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) before joining heritage UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) in 2013. Prior to her time withCollins Aerospace, Elizabeth worked as a licensed attorney with cases related to state and federal regulatory issues and litigation.
In her personal life she is proud of her Impact 100 Gulf Coast membership as well as her service to their Board of Directors.
She is married to Jimmy Petty, and they enjoy spending time with their 4 children and 4 grandchildren, as well as traveling, hunting, and boating.
