Kristen lovingly refers to herself as an Air Force military brat, having moved to Panama City, FL with her parents at age 7. She attended Callaway Elementary, Everitt Middle, Rutherford High, and Gulf Coast Community College before heading off to Orlando to finish her marketing degree at the University of Central Florida.
After completing her education, Kristen spent another 6 years in Orlando working for a large insurance holding firm. There, she grew in the ranks of a corporate firm, honing her skills in client relationship marketing and business development. In her previous roles, Kristen demonstrated her proficiency in various areas, from managing trade show logistics to serving as a liaison for the home office and subsidiary client companies.
In 2006, Kristen made the decision to move back to Panama City, FL, where she began intertwining herself within the community. Starting as a junior sales representative with Gray Media/WJHG NewsChannel 7, Kristen steadily progressed in her career. Today, she holds the position of General Sales Manager, where she leads, motivates, and inspires a team of local multimedia sales consultants. Her role involves fostering relationships with local and regional business owners, developing marketing strategies and ensuring client satisfaction.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Kristen is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She has been actively involved with the Junior League of Panama City since 2006 and served on the Board as VP of Fund Development for several years. Additionally, Kristen has dedicated her time to various philanthropic endeavors, including committees for the American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball and New Years Eve Masquerade Ball. Kristen serves as Chair of the Membership Recruitment Committee for Impact 100 Gulf Coast.
Kristen is also highly engaged in business networking, being a member of the area Chamber of Commerce’s, Florida’s Great Northwest Leadership Class II and a former member of BNI.
Despite her busy schedule, Kristen’s passions are deeply rooted in her love for her family and friends. She shares a blessed life with her husband Darrell and their two beautiful children, Harper and Dawson. In their spare time, they enjoy anything outdoors, from beach time to fishing, creating cherished memories together.
