Lacey Obos is a lifelong resident of Bay County and a dedicated leader in both education and community service. She earned her degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Florida State University and began her career teaching middle and high school mathematics. She currently serves as the Dean of Communication and Student Services at University Academy, where she brings a passion for student success and strong school-community connections to her work.

A committed community volunteer, Lacey is a longtime member of the Junior League of Panama City and served two years as President during a pivotal transition as the organization became a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI).

Lacey and her husband, Kevin, are proud parents of two children, Harrison and Linley, and two French Bulldogs, Daisy and Rose. In her free time, Lacey enjoys traveling with her family whenever she can, FSU football and relaxing at the lake.
